When you register with the CBP Automated Clearinghouse (ACH), you gain more control over your payments and financial obligations as an importer in the US. Registering with an ACH also saves you money as you pay your duties directly and, in doing so, avoid disbursement fees.

ACH Set-up Assistance

  • ‍We provide a one-on-one virtual walk-through of the setup process, including what is needed for registration and how to manage your payments on a Periodic Monthly Statement (PMS) cycle.

Monthly Transaction Reports

  • A copy of our invoice with the entry summary after the goods are cleared.
  • A report emailed to you every Monday that details all of the entries that are coming up for payment, the payment amount, and the dates they are scheduled for payment.
  • An email with a copy of the statement along with the entry summary will be provided on the day the funds are needed.

ACH Consulting

  • This service gives you access to our ACH Specialists, who are available to walk you through your first payment cycle, ensuring success.

‍Is an ACH worth it? 

‍In nearly every case, yes, and sometimes it’s mandatory. Not only does an ACH give you greater control and transparency when paying your duties, but it also helps streamline and simplify the process in the long run by centralizing your Automated Broker Interface Statements in one place - which, of course, is to say nothing of the money you’ll save.

‍How does this save importers money? 

‍Any duties that PCB pays on your behalf incur disbursement fees. Using an ACH removes the need for that fee, which, in turn, can save you significant money in the long run. This is particularly important as if duties go up, this fee will as well.
